Studio Bark, a London based innovative architectural practice with an ethos ingrained in sustainable modular design, has teamed up with Kinrise and East Street Arts to deliver a collaborative space for the arts community in Leeds. The inspiring yet cost conscious modular ‘U-Build’ system starts as flat packed wooden panels, is easy to construct and just as easy to deconstruct or move to another location. The purpose of the wooden pods at 34 Boar Lane are to act as moveable spaces for artists to take up residency, to use as a studio, an exhibition space or to encourage collaboration between artists and the public in Leeds.
